Play and fun!

My two boys are really excited because vacation is near! We usually go out of town during their school break. Though this March will be different because as I have mentioned in previous posts, we will be moving out! But of course, the idea of Outer Banks rentals does not escape our minds. Who does not want to enjoy a real vacation? Who knows? We might still be able to squeeze in some time for play and fun!

A Ferrari in his future

Having two sons means having to buy cars in the future. I was just amazed because I saw my eldest son sort of shopping for Ferrari parts. I asked him why. He said that he is just browsing through cars and car parts. I asked him if he would like to have a Ferrari. He said that maybe in the future when he could already afford it. That’s my son! Thank you for the understanding. It is very hard to purchase a vehicle here in our country. We are just in that part of the society which just has enough to live a daily life. Well, it is not bad to dream and to dream BIG! That includes a Ferrari in the future!

Warm embrace

It will be my brother’s 49th birthday on Monday! I am trying to convince us to bring us to Syracuse italian restaurant! He just laughed about it because he knows that it is just a figure of speech. We are not in New York and it is not possible for us to go there in the nearest possible time. Not on Monday! He,he,he!

I always look forward to celebrate birthdays! It is a time for the family to get together. It does not have to be grand. What is more important is the warm embrace of knowing you belong and the one you love is still around for you.

Dare to help

I am sure that most of us know or heard the story about the Good Samaritan, right? I wonder if goodsamers.com got the idea from that story. The Good Samaritan is one of my favorite stories. All of us should be a good Samaritan. My sister told me a story about her neighbor caught up in a holdup incident last week. It was in a jeepney. To think that there are a lot of passengers compared to the two bad men who got the bag of the poor lady, no one dared to help her. Sad, is it not?

The throne

There are many shows lately about Kings and Queens. I wonder how it is to be a real King. Do Kings really sit at thrones? It is bad to just sit there all day, huh! Prolonged sitting is bad. Could it be the reason why toilet seats are called thrones? it is a common joke here in our country that when you have to move and you have to excuse yourself politely or with humor, you will say, I have to sit at the throne.

I believe that the comfort room and the bathroom or call it bathroom only since usually, these two places are combined in most houses, should be one of the best places at home. From the word itself, comfort room, it should be comfortable. I hope Icould choose a good buy from the American Standard toilets available in the show room I will go to by next month. I hope that I could get a good price too!

Accent in the kitchen

I was in the mall yesterday and my mind was flying elsewhere. Nothing much could really catch my attention until I passed by the house and home section and I saw those copper kitchen sinks. Pretty unique, I thought. There are not much of copper sinks nowadays and the most used are the stainless ones or the tiled type. That could be a nice accent in my kitchen.

Crazy women or just loving and passionate?

Two highly controversial women have been in the news lately. Last Sunday, Kris Aquino shouted it to the whole world that she is taking her two kids with her leaving her husband, James Yap behind. She said that the ball is now in James’ hands. The married life of this couple has been in the public eye since they came out in the public. By the way, you all know Kris Aquino, the daughter of the heroes! Anyways, I really admire this woman for her courage. She is just fighting for her marriage. Who are we to judge her? Even if I have not been married yet, I might want a woman who would fight for me and our family.

The next woman in the eyes of the public is Marlene Aguilar. She is the mother of the suspected criminal, Jason Ivler. She is now being charged of obstruction of justice because of hiding her son. She said that she could trade places with her son any time and her love for him will be forever! A real depiction of a mother’s love? I was asked what I could say about her. IMO? No comment again. I never wanted to be in that situation because I do not know what I will do. One thing, I could not judge this mother. The laws of the land is different from the laws Above. Let Him do the judgment and His will be done.

Cozy atmosphere

I am caught between TV mounts and entertainment cabinets. I need an interior decorator for my mini house. Everything should be space saver so that the home will look cozy and my sons would love to stay at. Our new house is located far from the city thus I want to make sure that the atmosphere that will be created is not boring for the two boys to want to get out. Anyways, I still have four more months to think and decide.

Adjustment period

The month is almost on its first half! Time is really running fast! I am excited though. Well by the end of school year, we will be moving in to our new house. That could be quite sad also because my sons will miss their friends. Thanks to our motorcycle that they could always go and visit.

Moving from one place to another is really a life changing experience. You change environment. That means new neighbors, new community, new friends. I hope that the adjustment period will just be short for all of us.

Life is easier

Of my two sons, the youngest has sensitive skin. Too bad for him because he really suffers from it. He could not wear certain types of fabric. We even have to use allergy bedding for his bed! I hope that he will be healed. They say that exposure is the best cure. Oh, son! No guts no glory? He has to suffer first then eventually gets immune. I hope that time will come. If not, we just have to live with it. Thanks to certain products that help life become easier.
