Exact opposites

Have I mentioned that my two sons are exact opposites? My eldest is on the heavy side while the other needs lots of vitamins! Yes, my youngest is so tiny. His cousin who is only six years old is even bigger than him. This kid of mine has a low appetite and is choosy with foods. That could be the reason. He does not drink milk too. That is another reason. Now, I feel miserable. I know that a woman should take care of them to be able to see to it that they could really eat the right and proper kind and right amount of food everyday. My younger brother is the one taking care of them because I have to work. As I mentioned in the past, I am a single Dad. Anyways, I guess I just have to encourage him to drink milk again or any chocolate drink. Better yet, include buying vitamins in the budget too so that he will have a supplement for whatever nutrient he misses out from not eating vegetables and other meat.

Itchy pants

The problem that may arise from fitting clothes when buying is skin disease. Would you agree? My son is complaining of itchiness on his thighs. We tried to figure out possibilities where he got it. What food he ate? Did he play in the fields? Could it be a mosquito? Answer is NO to all those questions. Then we remembered that he recently bought a new pair of pants. could that be it? Maybe he is allergic to that particular fabric. He has been fitting clothes whenever we shop before and he did not experience that itchiness until now. I looked at the area that he has been scratching and I am already alarmed that he might need an eczema treatment soon. I advised him to stop scratching or maybe just tap the area that feels itchy.

Not one but three

Settling for a door knob? It is time to put deadbolt locks. If possible all doors should have one, except the bathroom, of course! It is common that only the front or the main door has a deadbolt lock. I saw some gates that have one too. There was a funny one along our neighborhood. Te front gate has three deadbolt locks. Well, if that will give the owner some peace of mind, why not?

There are better tomorrows to come

Hello guys! Happy Weekend! It is Saturday once again. Time flies. It is July already. My son will turn 14 this month. Am I correct? I hope that I could give him a little celebration. It has been hard for the boys these past few weeks. We are kind of hard up on so many things. I really need to look for extra ways and means to earn more. Thanks to blogging that I earn extra. So, paging my dearest advertiser, please give me more assignments, please…

Anyways, I do not have to really worry. The One Up There will always provide. I just hope that the kids do not feel the pressure this much. I hope that there will not come a time that they will wish they were born of a different Dad. It is already a trauma for them that they do not have a mother beside them. Domestic or family problems really hit children thus I am hoping that I am doing a good job as their Dad.

What am I saying here? I am wishing you a happy weekend but I am sort of telling you my personal woes. I apologize for that.

Anyways, life must go on. Life is like this. I know though that there are better tomorrows to come!

Cheer up to myself!

No dark circles

My nephew is just starting to use the pencil. He is in grade 1. Actually, he is good in drawing but using paint application in the computer and in his sketcher board but in paper using a pencil, even dark circles are not recognizable. He still has to learn how much pressure he should give for him to be able to write or draw using pen and paper. My sons did learn and it was really amazing. Kids do learn in school. Yes, with parents’ guidance, they could be better.

Standing, sitting, stress

The trouble of prolonged standing or prolonged sitting is the big H. Good thing that there is treatment for hemorrhoids. You must be alarmed though if ever you have one. They say that it is not only due to prolonged standing or sitting but it could also appear when a person is in a stressful situation. Constipation is also an attribute to that. Oh, I do not like to have that. Eating fiber helps. Lots of green and leafy vegetables should also be part of your diet. Most of all, do not forget to drink the required number of glasses of water. Do that and there will be no H for you.

Big ones

I have already mentioned in my past entries that I am vain. Well, I want to stay young that is why I take care of my skin. It is not unusual for men anymore to do that. Recently or last father’s day, I was able to watch in a local morning show about treatments that both women and men can avail in the popular cosmetic clinic. I wonder if they have magazines also featuring testimonials of their clients. I am interested in acne treatment reviews because I am really prone to breakouts. Big ones! Yes, you call that the dreaded ACNE.

Box business

I am a crafty and artistic person. Redundant as it may seem but really, I love the arts! Actually, when I was still a student, most of mt classmates paid me to do their projects. Now, I am thinking of custom cardboard boxes. I bought many boxes for our packing. I then thought of painting them. Weird, huh! Well, in my spare time, my imagination really works. Then, I thought, why not start a small business? I hope that it will prosper in the future. I am inspired!

Public education

School time is here. My eldest son is in first year high school already. Talking about secondary education, huh! To be honest, I am quite not happy not being able to send him to a private school. Life is really hard and I could not afford to pay high tuition fees. Anyways, we could always depend on public schools’ quality of education? The incoming administration of PNOY has this in his list of priorities, have you heard? Just like most parents though, I think that the proposal to add more years in primary and secondary education would mean more money to spend. Yes, every parent would want his child to already finish College, the soonest time possible. That includes me. It is hard when you are working alone. I want to give my sons the best but I hope that they understand that we are just in that financial stage. It pains me that sometimes, I have to send them to my brother’s or sister’s house for some help. You know, rough times. Anyways, I know that time will come that everything will be alright. I just have to be a good father and try to communicate better to my kids why they could not have what other rich kids could have.

I was looking for N6103 at Nokia.com but I was not able to find it. Maybe I was in the wrong region? Of course I chose Philippines. However, I was not able to find N6103. Anyways, I woke up today and decided to search for it in Google. Voila! After a few pages, there is N6103!
