Concrete ones

So, PNOY has signed some executive orders already. I read three. The one that I understood the most or maybe the one that I read recently is : Executive Order No. 3 – Revoking Executive Order No. 883 Dated 28 May 2010. I think it is about the midnight appointments made by the former administration. Recently, also read that PNOY is looking into the law that made National Holidays be moved to the nearest Monday for a longer weekend. This was made to promote tourism, as I understood it.

What can I say? Well, I hope that PNOY will look into what is really happening in the Philippines. I suggest that he does not concentrate on just changing or removing whatever the previous administration did.

Jack of All Trades

I am the Jack of All Trades? Sometimes people perceived that of me. I do not know but maybe because I am a salesman of sort especially when I have to. Well, just do not loo for thule racks because I suggest that you buy that from authorized dealers. Kidding aside, yes, I used to have a smalls tore before. I sell toys. I wake up early to go the biggest wholesaler of toys in our country. It was a good business. I plan to go back to it because expenses are adding up. Necessary ones of course. As the kids grow bigger, the bigger their needs also.

Going high end after high school

Okay, it is quite easy for me to buy iphone accessories but not the iphone yet. have you seen the latest from that wonder phone? I must reveal now that the gift that my eldest wanted was a new mobile phone. He still has his old unit but he has not experienced having a brand new phone yet. I just told him that maybe after his graduation from high school, I could already entrust him a high end phone.

The sellers

My nephew is clever. He asked my son to sell used books. Well, it is not like they are going to be hired by a used book store but they are actually to sell their own books! Why donate it when you can earn money from it? Clever, is it not? Now, they want to sell everything from used clothes and old toys! Teenagers, huh! I gave my permission to them as long as they do not touch my things. They can sell everything they want to sell. Good luck, guys!

Happy Birthday Son!

My son’s birthday last week that was why I was busy. We did not have a big celebration since life is really hard. To be honest, we just had ice cream and I gave him some cash for him to buy whatever he wants. I tried looking for a gift but my money was not enough for the gift that I wanted to give him. My son is growing up so fast. He is becoming more responsible as he knows and understands what is going on with our live. I am not proud that they do not have a mother but at least I am proud that I am trying my best to be both Mom and Dad to them.

happy Birthday again, Son! Daddy loves you!

Quality not quantity

What is more important to you? Quality or quantity? I think for a company, both are important. If you can work with quality standards and at the same time productive then it is like hitting a jackpot! That is what companies are looking for in an employee. One would be very productive but check the quality and you will be dismayed. One will be very slow but will produce an excellent product. People must work on that if they do not like to be replaced by machines soon!

A display no more

So, my sister in law is finally losing weight. I asked her if she has started taking apidexin. She said that she is into slimming teas and not much carbohydrates intake lately. I suggested that she buys a bike so that she could increase her physical activity. I am not talking of the stationary bike but a real bike. Just do not forget the helmet and the arm and knee pads also. My brother did not agree though. The ever protective fellow, huh! Anyways, she is using the treadmill that they thought they bought as a display three years ago! :)

Sticking to the basics

I visited my brother’s house today. There is something new in their faces. Did they get older or what? I learned that they were not ab;e to sleep that much last night. Anyways, I suggested that they use the night wrinkle cream that I have been using. Yes, eventhough I am a man, I take care of my skin, especially my face. Why let stress get into your system and shows in your face when you can actually do something about it, right? No, I am not a beauty expert. ;) I am just sticking to the basics of skin health care

Indication that life is changing for the better

The min-grocery store nearby our house is an indication that life is changing for the better in our town. Imagine, small store with a barcode scanner! Well, the store has new items to sell and it is expanding. We can now buy clothes there. That is good because it means savings in transportation. No need to go to the malls. I checked it out a while ago and it is quite impressive. I am sure that the store will even have more customers.

No more gym subscription

Add pull up bars and you can already have your mini gym. I told my brother that because they already have the treadmill, abflex, tummy trimmer, some weights, chest expander, and their super Wii! There  one very important thing missing, though. What is it? The space. Yes, they do not have much space to put all those equipments. They actually lived in a bigger house before, where they were able to turn an extra room for their exercise area. Now, they do not have even a minimal space for that. The front porch will do but it is still under construction. It actually looks like a garage as of the moment. They plan to have their second floor soon and maybe, when that time comes, everone in the family does not have to spend in a gym subscription anymore.
