Missing Dad
I am looking at cigars online and I remember my late father. He used to smoke. Every morning, I could see him by the balcony with his cigar, coffee and newspaper. I miss my father. I was his favorite son. I hope I was able to show him how much I love him also. He’ been very good to me and my sons.
Higher pay
I work in a department store. I am in the maintenance department. I am exposed to all kinds of supplies and materials that might be needed in case something breaks down like industrial handles, emergency lights, piles and piles of wood, cans of paints, bulb lights and so many others. It is not only when something bis broke that we replace it but we also do with other materials in a regular basis. I usually work during night shifts. Well, that is for a higher pay check and for me to have more time with my two sons.
Keep on moving
As long as there is motorhome towing service, I think I would consider living in a trailer or a moving van. I just hope that they will be available twenty four hours a day. You know, the hassle of being stranded or not being able to reach your destination because you are stuck somewhere. That could really be frustrating.
Now, I am excited and would try to look for nice van houses. With the recent typhoon and flash flood, I think it would be safer to just keep on moving.
Dance number
I watched television today. There is a new show at my favorite channel. I was hoping that one of the numbers is already uploaded in YouTube. It is a dance number by a college basketball team in their complete basketball uniforms. However, I did not find any video of it yet. I tried searching for men dancing and I found this one.
Enjoy!
Love in a box
Now is the best time to start filling in that shipping box. That is what most people working abroad are thinking. They put toys, clothes, shoes, bags and other stuff that their loved ones here would like to have come Christmas. Oh, the life of an overseas worker, huh! They would try hard to bring their love here through that big box. I just hope that the people that would receive inside would cherish it and could give back some love too.
Health reasons
My only sister would like me to buy her a slimming pill. Actually, all of us in the family already need to lose weight especially that we have a history of high blood pressure and diabetes. I know that it takes discipline for us to go back in our normal weight again. We just do not have to meet during meal times. Good conversations over food makes us eat more.
Good deal
My sister told me, brother, look at My favorite high fashion eyeglasses! Pretty nice, huh! I am sure those are expensive. She said, NOT! Those are $ 8 Rx eyeglasses from Zenni! I could not believe it! Prescription eyeglasses for only 8$? Now that is the answer to everyone asking, How You Can Start Spending Smart nowadays! Internet is really helpful for us to find good deals like this one.
He lost his mobile phone
My son lost his mobile phone yesterday. At first, he was afraid to tell me. Now, we are incommunicado, meaning, for us to reach our relatives and friends, we have to go to their house and see them personally. Good thing my sister and brother live in the same subdivision.
My son is now asking me to buy him a new mobile phone. Well, I have to see his report card first.
Computer basics
My brother checked our new computer. He installed an antispyware software. He said that it is very important or the PC might be attacked by certain viruses. He also told me about http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com where I could download antispyware software. I guess, it is high time for me to learn about computer basics. I am not really a techy person. I just love playing computer games.:)
My panicking sister
My sister in law was panicking upon seeing her home washed out by the muddy flood. She immediately looked for her bag where she placed all their important documents like land titles, diplomas, transcript of records, birth and marriage certificates, passports, and the recent medical assisting certification she acquired. She luckily found the bag with all the contents intact but all wet! She secured the land title and the passports. The rest? She decided to just get new copies since the school could provide it, anyways!
