The new star in the house

A baby? No, it is the new computer. My two kids slept late last night but still managed to wake up early. Okay, you have all the time to play but wait until classes start. My brother who is more techy than me had programmed the Japanese fellow so that we could use it already.

Okay, boys. Time to stop! We have not taken breakfast yet!

Kids excited for the new computer

Everybody woke up earlier than usual today. We are going to have our new computer! No, we are not going to purchase it. Someone very generous is giving it to my kids. Who? Their cousin from Japan. Yes, my brother in law would be arriving today with our new computer in tow. Now, my sons have something to do until classes begin again.

Going back to my first choice

Ooopppsss… it is not about a person. It is about the theme of this blog! Yes, I changed it! I actually spent my whole day off just doing it. I accidentally did some errors and luckily, my blog was not deleted after all. Thanks to my friend who is actually hosting this blog for me.

Anyways, I think I would be keeping this theme for a long while. I am tired already and I really could not get the look that I want. I am contented with this one for now.

Pinoy Bingo Night

pinoybingonight

Filipinos are hooked to Bingo. ABS CBN Channel 2 acted on that fact and has now a TV show called Pinoy Bingo night. It is hosted by Ms. Kris Aquino. It is entertaining. Well, having Kris as the host is an entertainment itself. My Aunt loves Bingo and I am sure she is one of the many people who contributes to the high ratings of this show.

Hatton versus Manny Pacquiao

Everyone is excited this early about Manny’s fight with Hatton. My brother invited me to watch at one of the theaters. I am sure that would be an exciting fight. Manny Pacquiao has been an icon and brought so many honors to the Philippines already. Win or lose, he would always be a winner. Imagine, he is the sole Filipino with a Nike ad!

Manny gives hopes to every poor Filipino who would like to reach the top. I guess each of us just have to find our own talent, work hard to hone it and use it for a good purpose.

Tenth post on April 10

Wow! I am on my tenth post since I started this blog. I am doing good. It has been a sort of therapy for me already. Maybe, I should think now of topics I would like top discuss here. Share some of my talents maybe. And of course meet some friends. I actually did some blog hopping and saw some sort of clubs? Or what do you call those? There is wordless wednesday, entrecard, heads or tails and the like. I do not know what to join and how to go about it. Maybe I would study about it first. Maybe, if I join those I would be more visible to others. Ha,ha,ha. I do not know if someone visits this blog at all. Maybe, I should introduce myself to this world. I should tell my co-workers too? Nah… I am a private person to them. Also, there might be some posts about them too. :)

Til my next post!

Remembering my mother

It is Holy Monday today. I could not help but remember my late Mom. Yes, I lost my mother last year. She had hypertension. She lived a good life though. She served us well. She was the best Mom. She even took care of my sons. She lived with us or I lived with her? My Mom had always been supportive of me and my decisions in life. Yes, you could say that I am a Mama’s boy.

Anyways, one of my brothers asked me to make the sweet sauce made of coconut milk and brown sugar that our mother taught us. We would use it by Friday. It has been a tradition in the family to eat suman with that sauce every Holy Week. The more that I miss my Mom…
